Job Description
SUMMARY
The Senior HR Generalist will lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department including employee relations, administering the ADP HRIS, onboarding/offboarding, administering leave, and the enforcing company policies and practices. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but does serve as a coach for other positions. Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy. Manage and maintain highly confidential employee and company records, including human resources files, legal documents, and financial data. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and engagement; and training and development. Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff. Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance. Partners with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization's human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning. Serves as the primary liaison to ADP and is responsible for coordinating payroll, granting access, escalations. Provides support and guidance to management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations. Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs. Supports in the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles; collaborates with managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings. Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance. Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law. Performs other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field highly desired. A minimum of three years of human resource management experience preferred. SHRM-CP, PHR, SHRM-SCP or SPHR highly desired. CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES
Certifications/Licenses: SHRM-CP, PHR, SHRM-SCP or SPHR highly desired. SKILLS/ABILITIES
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's ADP HRIS and talent management systems. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Three day a week onsite.
