Electromechanical Technician (8 Week Contract Role)
Join our team as an Electromechanical Technician, where you will collaborate with skilled professionals to assemble and test equipment. The role involves constructing structures that take up to a week to build and comprise various sub-assemblies. You will perform electro-mechanical and mechanical assembly, wiring panels, and crimping/stripping components. Confidence in electrical skills and the ability to use hand tools are essential. You will also need to interpret schematics and wiring diagrams effectively. Responsibilities: Assemble and test equipment structures, focusing on sub-assemblies. Perform electro-mechanical and mechanical assembly of components. Wire panels together and execute crimping and stripping tasks. Utilize hand tools such as grinders and drills to complete assemblies. Read and interpret schematics and wiring diagrams accurately. Essential Skills: Experience in wiring and crimping. Ability to read work instructions and schematics. Proficiency with hand tools, including grinders and drills. Strong electrical skills for assembly processes. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Experience with sub-assembly and larger scale assembly (capital equipment). Competence in using machining and blueprint reading. Work Environment: The dress code requires steel-toed shoes and jeans. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $30.00/hr.
