Job Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced
Business Development Specialist with the embedded development background , to help build our presence in Austin TX, driving growth and establishing relationships with top tech companies. This role is key to expanding our client base and setting the strategic direction of the branch, ensuring alignment with Real Time Group’s mission of providing exceptional training and software solutions. Key Responsibilities
Market Research & Strategy Development:
Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry trends in the Austin tech ecosystem. Assist in developing strategic sales approaches tailored to the region. Lead Generation & Qualification:
Identify, research, and qualify prospective clients. Develop targeted outreach strategies to build a robust sales pipeline. Relationship Building:
Establish and nurture relationships with decision-makers in target companies to understand their needs and promote Real Time Group’s training programs and software solutions. Client Needs Assessment:
Consult with prospective clients to assess their challenges and goals, positioning Real Time Group’s offerings as valuable solutions. Sales Outreach & Pitching:
Use a combination of outbound sales activities, including cold calls, emails, and in-person meetings, to reach and engage potential clients effectively. Collaboration with Marketing & Product Teams:
Work closely with the marketing team to develop materials and campaigns that align with sales goals. Collaborate with product teams to understand software solutions and training services. Reporting & KPI Tracking:
Track and report on sales metrics, including lead generation, conversion rates, and client engagement. Provide feedback and insights to optimize sales processes and strategies. Continuous Improvement:
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and Real Time Group’s offerings to maintain a competitive edge. Required Skills and Qualifications
10+ years of experience selling hardware/software engineering solutions to US based companies Experience in one of the following tech areas (Real Time Embedded development, SW/HW integration, Sensors, IoT, Cyber Security). Network or existing book of business connections in Austin TX technology market. Technical background and excellent understanding of SW/HW engineering practices and technologies. Strong communication skills via phone and email. Proven, creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills. Persuasiveness, excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills. Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, etc. Location
Candidate must be located in commutable distance to Austin, Texas Metropolitan Area. Seniority level
