Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders to define integration requirements and document workflows
Design, build, and deploy high-quality interfaces using integration platforms such as Cerner Open Engine and Epic Bridges
Monitor and support production interfaces to ensure high system availability and performance
Act as a liaison between application teams, technical teams, and vendors for effective communication
Participate in audits to ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards
Qualifications
1 - 5 years of experience with interface engines or EHR integration platforms
Basic SQL and scripting skills (e.g., Python, Tcl) and familiarity with APIs
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or Health Informatics
Ability to work off-hours and participate in an on-call rotation
Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
1-2 years of experience in a healthcare setting (clinical systems, EHRs, HL7, HIPAA)
1-2 years of experience in technical support, help desk, or application support roles
Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare IT, Information Systems, or a related field
Preferred certifications in Healthcare IT, platform-specific, and security & compliance areas
Technical certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Microsoft Azure Integration
