Join to apply for the Product Manager IV role at Apex Systems. This role centers on transforming Studio Economics into a platform- and product-oriented model that enables scalable, intelligent, and user-centered solutions. The Platform Owner defines and oversees the development of shared services, reusable components, and cross-cutting capabilities used by product pods across the Studios. What We Do / Project

In the Studio Economics transformation, the Platform Owner sets the strategic vision for the underlying platform and collaborates with Cloud Architect, Data Architect, and product-aligned delivery teams to ensure a cohesive developer experience and enterprise alignment. Job Responsibilities / Typical Day In The Role

Set and Drive Platform Strategy: Define the strategic vision and roadmap for the Studio Economics platform, focusing on modularity, scalability, and reuse across business domains and technical teams. Identify and prioritize platform capabilities (e.g., shared APIs, orchestration layers, semantic models, monitoring tools) to enable faster, more consistent delivery. Translate enterprise goals (real-time analytics, AI-readiness, automation) into a platform operating model for rapid delivery with long-term stability. Lead Architecture Evolution and Technical Alignment: Oversee cloud-native platform architecture; ensure decisions align with product needs and enterprise standards. Partner with Cloud Architect to define infrastructure patterns (serverless, event-based workflows) that are secure, cost-effective, and scalable. Work with Data Architect to ensure data products, pipelines, and canonical models are reusable, governed, and discoverable. Enable Cross-Pod Delivery Through Shared Services: Define platform services (API Gateway, CI/CD pipelines, schema registries, observability tooling) that streamline onboarding and reduce friction across pods. Drive standardization of architectural patterns and tooling while balancing governance with usability. Track platform adoption, reuse metrics, and feedback loops; adjust investments based on business outcomes and delivery needs. Champion Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement: Establish and enforce SLAs, automation standards, and observability baselines to support production-grade operations. Identify bottlenecks or fragmentation risks and guide remediation with engineers and architects. Lead platform retrospectives, incident reviews, and improvement efforts to increase resilience and developer productivity. Facilitate Collaboration and Governance: Act as primary steward of platform intake, backlog prioritization, and cross-pod coordination; ensure clarity around platform capabilities and escalation paths. Represent the platform in executive forums, product councils, and architecture boards; communicate progress and dependencies. Ensure compliance with enterprise security, governance, and regulatory standards; collaborate with infosec, compliance, and data governance teams. Must Have Skills / Requirements

5–10 years of experience in platform strategy, enterprise architecture, or technical product management within complex, multi-product or multi-domain environments. Proven success defining and executing platform roadmaps, including shared services, reusable components, and scalable infrastructure. Deep technical proficiency in AWS-native architectures (Lambda, Step Functions, AppSync, API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFront, Cognito). Strong understanding of modular architecture principles, API design, domain-driven design, and CI/CD integration patterns. Experience driving platform adoption and standardization, including observability tooling (CloudWatch, OpenSearch, X-Ray), service-level automation, and operational metrics. Functional Knowledge / Skills

Think in Systems and Services; view the platform as reusable building blocks enabling scalable delivery. Lead with Strategic Agility; translate long-term goals into actionable short-term capabilities. Unify Through Enablement; bring technical leaders together around shared practices and assets. Advocate for Developer Experience; prioritize ease of use and clear documentation. Bridge Business and Technology; adapt the platform to evolving business needs. Collaborate with Architects and Engineers; partner with Cloud and Data Architects to ensure reusable, governed infrastructure. Strong Communication and Product Mindset; translate platform strategy into measurable outcomes and align stakeholders. Bias for Enablement and Value Delivery; automate and simplify to accelerate adoption. Technology Requirements

Platform Leadership Experience in technical product management, platform engineering, or enterprise architecture for complex, multi-product environments.
