The Project Manager works closely with teammates to ensure the maximum value of our clients’ workforce management investment is achieved by overseeing, coordinating, and participating in all phases of the UKG (legacy Kronos) WFM Pro (Dimensions) projects.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end UKG WFM implementation projects, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.

Develop and manage detailed project plans, work breakdown structures, and resource allocation strategies.

Oversee internal and client teams, directing day‑to‑day activities and ensuring alignment with project milestones.

Manage project scope, risks, issues, and change control processes using UKG’s prescribed methodology.

Serve as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and timely issue resolution.

Provide thought leadership and contribute to continuous improvement of project delivery frameworks.

Support governance activities including steering committee participation and executive reporting.

Collaborate with integration leads to ensure seamless data migration and configuration alignment with business structures.

Direct day‑to‑day project team member activities and consult with client team members on assigned tasks.

Maintain project scope by developing and respecting project budget, schedule, and timeline.

Use best practices and the prescribed methodology to ensure solutions are implemented on time and on budget, meeting client business objectives.

Facilitate complex working sessions for internal and client teams, tailoring strategic objectives to meet client‑specific needs.

Effectively identify, resolve, and communicate escalated issues that may impede or delay the project.

Provide guidance and coaching to project team members and participate in project management office initiatives where applicable.

Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0% to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.

Qualifications

Minimum of 4 years experience managing UKG Workforce Management implementation projects, with a proven track record of successful delivery.

Minimum of 4 years experience leading cross‑functional project teams, including oversight of workstream leads to ensure timely delivery of milestones and exceed client expectations.

Minimum of 3 years of experience managing project financials, including proactive monitoring and resolution of project‑related issues.

Minimum of 2 years of hands‑on experience in UKG Timekeeping and/or Advanced Scheduling & Labor Optimization.

An active UKG Project Management Certification.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (12 years) of professional experience. Candidates with an Associate’s degree must have a minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience.

Bonus Points: In‑depth knowledge of project implementation methodologies.

Ability to work on complex, fast‑paced projects in a collaborative team setting.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor communication to audience.

Detail‑oriented with excellent organizational skills and a strong work ethic.

Commitment to learning with a positive attitude toward feedback and ongoing training.

Experience project managing a UKG (legacy Kronos) Dimensions or Central or UKG Pro (legacy UltiPro) project.

Experience leading enterprise‑level and/or complex projects and engagements with multiple resources.

Experience overseeing all aspects of engagement delivery, including deliverable production, executive‑level communications, and direction of resource activities.

Ability to break down and simplify complex operations into repeatable processes.

Proven experience in resolving conflicts and minimizing high‑risk situations.

PMI certification, especially PMP, preferred.
