Senior Product Manager – Figurines (Tonies) Join the tonies team to help expand and evolve our figurine portfolio. This role requires strategic thinking, deep user empathy, and operational excellence.

tonies is the globally leading interactive audio platform for children with more than 10 million Tonieboxes and 125 million Tonies sold. The intuitive and award‑winning audio system has changed the way young children play and learn independently with its child‑safe, wireless, and screen‑free approach.

About the Role You’ll define how each new Tonie comes to life, balancing creative storytelling, design innovation, and long‑term portfolio growth. Working closely with our content, hardware, and operations teams, you’ll ensure every figurine delights children and parents while strengthening the Tonies ecosystem.

Responsibilities

Lead the figurines strategy for your product areas – from customer insight to commercial proposition – ensuring a strong rationale behind each product launch and alignment to Tonies goals.

Support the definition of the product roadmap for figurines in close collaboration with content and portfolio teams.

Partner with the Product Director to define the strategic role of figurines within the broader Tonies experience ensuring a balance of new innovation with existing product improvement.

Product Development & Execution

Drive early‑stage exploration, ideation, and validation of new product concepts, balancing innovation with feasibility and commercial viability.

Lead figurine development from concept through to production handoff, ensuring timely and high‑quality delivery.

Monitor product performance post‑launch and drive continuous improvement in development efficiency, sustainability, and user experience.

Go‑to‑Market & Commercial Impact

Translate strategic priorities into clear product briefs, business cases and development initiatives.

Translate strategic objectives into actionable go‑to‑market plans, partnering with sales and marketing to ensure strong, impactful launches and global rollouts.

Consumer Insights & Performance Measurement

Partner with research and product marketing to identify and execute competitive analysis, category insights, and research initiatives.

Act as the voice of the consumer – gathering and analysing market trends, sales performance data, and user feedback to identify opportunities for improvement, help inform decision making and guide product design/refinement.

Define success metrics (e.g., profitability, engagement, attachment rate, ratings and reviews) and track performance over time.

Qualifications

Candidates must be currently located in the UK (London), Germany (Düsseldorf/Berlin) / France (Paris) or US (Boston).

7+ years of experience in product management for consumer products (preferably +2 years in a senior PM/Lead role).

Proven success in taking products from concept to launch with measurable impact.

A background ideally in the toy industry/expertise in managing content‑driven products.

Solid grasp of commercial levers – including pricing, margin optimisation, and feature prioritisation.

Experience working with cross‑functional and global teams, spanning sales, marketing, operations, design and engineering.

Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to drive decision‑making.

Experience managing complex cross‑functional programmes involving creative, technical, and operational stakeholders.

Fluent in English; other languages (e.g. German) are a plus due to our global footprint.

Willingness to work across time zones within a global organization. The role will involve some travel, for example to the Dusseldorf office.

Experience mentoring Junior Product Managers.
