Job Overview The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator is responsible for export logistics, shipping service execution, and compliance documentation for inbound and outbound shipping activities. Responsibilities include expediting deliveries, monitoring scheduled shipping, and assisting truck drivers.
Shift Schedule
1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Responsibilities
Act as liaison between Distribution Center and Customer Service teams.
Train new and current employees.
Generate month‑end reports, including the first and last ten shipping documents.
Manage damaged and scrap materials as needed.
Address receiving discrepancies, including overages and shortages.
Create inbound numbers for internal and 3rd‑party vendors.
Create and update reports using Excel, Word, and Power Point as required by DC Manager(s).
Monitor expedite e‑mail box and work with leadership to ensure shipments are made on time.
Schedule inbound and outbound shipments.
Utilize and work in various vendor portals (Lowe’s Link, 4PL, Amazon, Grainger, etc.).
Attend/direct incoming truck drivers and coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments while maintaining positive customer service attitude.
Monitor shipping reports within SAP/BlueYonder to ensure all shipments are posted daily.
Create domestic and export shipping documentation as required.
Work on assigned misc. projects related to warehouse processes.
Create intercompany and customer PO’s, including purchasing warehouse and office supplies.
Provide subject matter and trouble‑shooting assistance related to the shipping and receiving duties.
Flexible to work and train on other shifts.
Other duties within Shipping Office as assigned.
Qualifications
2‑4 years distribution experience in warehousing, shipping, and receiving processes, procedures, and systems.
Basic MS Office knowledge required (particularly Excel).
Working knowledge of SAP and/or Blue Yonder desired.
Able to interact and communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing, at all levels of the organization.
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Demonstrate flexibility to adjust to sudden changes in operational goals/demands and schedule.
Strong attention to detail and results oriented.
Must be able to work required schedule for the job but show flexibility to cover team members on PTO/LOA.
Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
Physical Requirements
Can lift and maneuver up to 35 lbs. from floor to waist and waist to floor.
Able to work at minimum an 8‑hour shift continuously on a computer.
