Job Title: Welder
Job Description
Join our team as a Welder, where you will be responsible for custom welding conveyor systems using Mig Welding techniques. You will start with a blueprint, gather necessary materials, tac weld the parts together, and then perform the mig welding. After welding, you will grind the parts to ensure a smooth finish.
Responsibilities
Custom weld conveyor systems using Mig Welding.
Read and interpret blueprints to gather necessary materials.
Tac weld parts together before performing full mig welding.
Grind welded parts to achieve a smooth finish.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in Mig Welding.
Ability to fabricate and weld.
Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints.
At least 5 years of experience in a recent job shop environment.

Work Environment
You will work in a fabrication shop specializing in material handling systems and equipment, with a significant focus on airport conveyor systems. The shift is from 6:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Thursday, and 6:30 am to 10:30 am on Friday, with overtime as needed on Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Albany, Indiana.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $26.00/hr.
