Key Responsibilities
Assess creditworthiness of counterparties and underlying assets.
Analyze historical performance and identify key risks.
Recommend or approve credit limits and tenors.
Validate risk ratings, Basel III parameters (e.g., LGDs), and financial metrics.
Monitor portfolio credit quality and participate in watch list reviews.
Track market trends across asset classes.
Support reporting for risk management and regulators.
Contribute to credit policy and global risk appetite.
Evaluate new business initiatives and product proposals.
Candidate Profile
7+ years in risk management, with a focus on insurance and broader FI exposure.
Strong credit risk expertise and knowledge of U.S. and offshore regulatory environments.
Analytical, independent, and capable of managing complex transactions.
Effective multitasker with strong collaboration and communication skills.
Fluent in English; French is a plus.
Results-driven, innovative, and able to work under pressure.
Department Overview The Risk Management team independently assesses and monitors risks across the organization, including credit, market, liquidity, and operational risks. The Credit Risk unit focuses on managing exposures to corporates, financial institutions, and sovereigns, setting credit policies, and defining exposure limits.
