Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics, utilizing both standardized tools and observational methods. Create individualized treatment strategies focusing on immediate goals and longer-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing requirements. Deliver personalized therapy sessions with a keen focus on enhancing communication, language comprehension, fluency, voice proficiency, and swallowing capabilities. Team up with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nursing personnel, physicians, caregivers, and relatives to formulate integrated care plans. Provide necessary education to patients and families to bolster ongoing progress outside the clinical environment. Engage in occasional inpatient evaluations and therapy, ensuring a seamless continuum of care. Uphold precise and timely documentation compliant with state regulations, federal guidelines, and institutional policies. Remain abreast of developments in the field through ongoing education and collaboration with peers. Qualifications
A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not ASHA-certified. Certifications
State licensure as a
Speech Language Pathologist . Preferably possess the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within the first month of employment. Skills
