Electrical Technician
Our client, a leader in robotics and automation technology, is seeking a dedicated Electrical Technician to join their team. As an Electrical Technician, you will be part of the Engineering Support team supporting hardware testing, robotics systems, and cable harness assembly. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to quality and safety, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Electrical Technician Location: Austin, TX Pay Range: $20-$25 Shift: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday What's the Job? Perform functional and end-of-line testing for robotic systems and subsystems to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers. Assist in the assembly, integration, and maintenance of robotic platforms and test stations. Build and assemble custom cable harnesses following schematics, wiring diagrams, and IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards. Document test results, repairs, and build procedures accurately to support continuous process improvements. What's Needed? At least 2 years of experience in electrical assembly, testing, or a related technical field. Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. Hands-on experience with cable harness assembly and electrical troubleshooting. Familiarity with robotic systems or mechatronic assemblies.
