Insurance Services Specialist Full-Time (On-Site Call Center Role) Fort Myers, FL Near Gulf Coast Medical Center MondayFriday | 8:00 AM4:30 PM Calling all skilled Insurance pros across Southwest Florida. If your superpowers include insurance verification, prior authorizations, and financial screening, Lee Health wants you on our behind-the-scenes hero squad. This role keeps you off the frontlines of patient care while placing you squarely at the heart of reimbursement success. You will work in our centralized call center verifying coverage, securing authorizations, and ensuring patients can access their care without delay. What Youll Do

Master high-volume inbound and outbound calls with confidence Verify insurance benefits and obtain authorizations with speed and accuracy Complete financial screenings using Epic and other key systems Interpret insurance guidelines and medical documentation Support revenue cycle excellence through top-tier detail focus What Makes You a Match

Located in Southwest Florida

Your work keeps everything moving As the first point of access for Lee Health patients, this position completes and assists with Insurance Verification, authorizations, and financial screening to secure maximum reimbursement for the Lee Health System. It also requires excellent verbal, analytical and customer service skills due to the varying methods of continuous communication that occurs telephonically. Requires extensive computer knowledge and analytical experience to navigate and interpret the information provided by a multitude of entities. Requires prioritization, detail orientation, organized, flexible while working within high volume work queues. This job requires the ability to understand medical terminology pertinent to obtaining the authorizations needed for services. RequirementsEducational Requirements
