Assignment Length:
13 weeks (Start: 11/3/2025 – End: 1/31/2026)
Shift:
8-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week
Estimated Weekly Salary:
$1950-$2000
Facility:
Level II Trauma Center with 19 operating rooms across two hospital locations
Parking:
Free, on-site parking for healthcare staff
Scrub Color:
Provided by the hospital
Orientation:
Two 8-hour shifts on the unit for onboarding
Qualifications – Operating Room Registered Nurse
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Wisconsin or compact state)
BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience (required)
Experience with bariatric and robotics surgeries (DaVinci XI robotics system required)
Ability to circulate and assist with intubation/extubation and patient positioning
Preferred: Experience in ENT, endovascular, minor vascular, neuro, and orthopedic surgeries
Proficiency with EPIC EMR, Alaris IV pumps, and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
OR RN Responsibilities
Deliver perioperative nursing care for diverse surgical specialties: general, robotics, bariatrics, ENT, plastics, urology, GYN, minor vascular, neuro, and orthopedics
Circulate and assist in the operating room, maintaining patient safety and sterile technique
Support intubation/extubation, patient positioning, and intraoperative monitoring
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists for optimal patient outcomes
Float between Main OR and East side locations within the hospital as needed
Assist with ancillary tasks: cleaning, stocking supplies, and supporting sterile processing instrumentation
Participate in orientation and ongoing clinical education
Additional Information:
No on-call required. Some holiday shifts may be scheduled. No weekend shifts. Maximum 4 days of requested time off (RTO) approved during the assignment.
