Job Description Representative Duties/Assignments The Property Control Specialist is responsible for assisting with the accounting for and control of County property. A substantial amount of fieldwork is required. The position performs inventory of County-owned property and is responsible for updating asset records with a high degree of accuracy. The Property Control Specialist prepares input forms using Excel, Word, and FoxIt for acquisition and disposition of County-owned tangible equipment with a high-degree of accuracy. The Property Control Specialist must be able to perform administrative duties, compile/analyze data, reconcile reports and correct discrepancies.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Familiar with the Microsoft Office products and the use of database and software tools
Performs administrative office functions
Effectively communicate orally and in writing
Possess and maintain outstanding customer service skills
Must be able to perform basic math functions
Familiar with office practices, procedures, and equipment (e.g., copiers, calculators, voice mail, and electronic mail)
Ability to perform strenuous work including climbing, lifting (minimum 40-pound cartons), bending, stooping, and extensive walking
Ability to use a barcode scanner (with training)
Minimum Qualifications
Graduation from high school or equivalent.
Must possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver's License and be willing to use your own vehicle for travel (mileage reimbursement applies).

Two years general office and administrative work

Pay Grade: C09 - $18.96 to $22.52
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
