Overview Responsible for performing independent quality checks and developing methods of measuring the quality and performance of the functional testing processes. Coordinates testing and evaluation activities that identify issues, trends, and gaps in existing programs. Provides an independent assessment of the programs, policies, and procedures tested and offers feedback to management. Works with the testing lead to create the test plan and strategy. Updates testing metrics daily and reports results to the QA Lead. May lead defect or testing meetings if the test lead is unavailable. Responsibilities Independent Testing & Validation - Writes test cases based on requirements and user stories, performs manual testing, creates testing plans, and loads them into appropriate tools. Participates in defect meetings and project routines to analyze current and re-tested defects. Data Analysis - Sources, compiles, and interprets data. Analyzes data for accuracy and efficiency, and communicates findings effectively. Risk Management - Contributes to risk mitigation by thoroughly testing and quality checking existing programs, policies, and procedures. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of QA experience in Financial Services OR High School Diploma/GED with 6 years of QA experience in Financial Services. Preferred: American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certification. This job posting is expected to remain active for 3 days from the initial posting date. The posting may be extended or removed early based on business needs or applicant volume. The base pay ranges from $100,000 to $120,000, depending on skills, experience, and location.
