Our client is seeking an Associate
Technical Designer
to join their team on a temp basis in their New York office!

Responsibilities: Attend all fittings and manage the fit approval process with the assistance of Senior Technical Designer as needed Communicate clear direction to overseas offices and factories to support brand quality and on-time delivery of products. Capable of identifying and resolving fit & construction issues through garment fittings (on models & forms), measuring garments, creating & revising graded specs and making pattern corrections. Develops tech packs (POM) based on sketches and/or samples from designers.
Requirements: 2-3 years of Technical Design experience Bachelors degree in design, production, or tech design Strong knowledge of sewing, construction, and some pattern making Proficiency in excel and illustrator
