Saint Francis University Major Gifts Officer Saint Francis University invites applications for a full-time 12-month Major Gifts Officer position in the Office of Advancement. The Major Gifts Officer is responsible to the Vice President for Advancement for cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding a portfolio of at least 150 major gift donors and prospects. This role is focused on building strong, long-term philanthropic relationships to secure significant financial support for the University. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of five years of major gift fundraising experience, preferably in higher education. Strong knowledge of major gift planning and prospect development is necessary. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to cultivate and secure gifts in the 4-6 figure range, demonstrate superior relationship-building skills, and possess excellent written and oral communication skills. The ability to travel extensively is required. The successful candidate will have experience with fundraising best practices, prospect research, and donor database management. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), donor management systems, and CRM platforms is necessary. Familiarity with social media, photo-editing, crowdfunding platforms, and related technologies is also desirable.
