Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced
NDT Level II Technician
to perform critical inspections in compliance with NAS410, BAC, ASTM, and customer specifications. This position ensures aerospace components meet the highest standards of safety and quality. A successful
NDT Level II Technician
will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working independently while supporting a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform PT and MT inspections per NAS410 and customer/internal specifications.
Set up, calibrate, and operate NDT equipment according to approved procedures.
Review work orders and verify compliance with process requirements.
Interpret, evaluate, and document inspection results, making accept/reject decisions.
Classify indications per applicable standards and report findings accurately.
Maintain thorough and organized inspection records.
Provide training and mentorship to Level I personnel when assigned.
Support audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Follow all company safety, quality, and ethical standards.
Qualifications
NAS410 Level II certification
in Penetrant Testing (PT) and Magnetic Particle Testing (MT).
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
Meets minimum OJT hours for NAS410 Level II certification.
Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, blueprints, and drawings.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and company operating systems.
Strong record-keeping, organizational, and communication skills.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Work performed in a manufacturing/inspection environment.
