Clinical Laboratory Scientist
Perform pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical phase testing of all complexities, including specialized tests and analyses in areas such as Hematology, Clinical Chemistry, Urinalysis, Immunohematology, Serology, Parasitology, and chemical and morphological examinations to obtain data for recording laboratory test results. Responsibilities Conduct testing across various clinical laboratory areas including Hematology, Clinical Chemistry, Urinalysis, and more. Perform specialized tests and analyses to support accurate laboratory results. Ensure adherence to all laboratory protocols and standards. Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient laboratory operations. Manage pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical phases of testing. Essential Skills Strong knowledge and experience in Hematology, Chemistry, and Molecular Biology. Proficiency in phlebotomy and blood bank procedures. MLT license. CPT license. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in a clinical laboratory setting. Familiarity with ASCP guidelines. Ability to work as a generalist across multiple laboratory disciplines. Work Environment Work within a small team of 4-5 individuals in a laboratory setting. This position is part of a large hospital system offering a contract-to-hire opportunity with potential for long-term employment. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
