Job Description
As a Test / QA Lead, you will have the opportunity to: Create and maintain test strategies and plans Analyze and interpret design specifications and business requirements, applying this information to the testing process Create and document test cases and test scripts Participate in daily scrum meetings Develop, monitor, and report daily test execution plans Drive and triage defects Transform the testing team to adopt new tools and agile methodologies, enabling the collection of quality metrics Interface with customers, influence them, and provide accurate status updates Support team development and improve team morale, including offshore teams Minimum education qualification:
A bachelor's degree in any discipline. An MBA or equivalent degree is preferred. The ideal candidate will have: 11+ years of experience as a QA Analyst / QA Lead with progressive responsibility Ability to troubleshoot, research, and resolve complex problems Excellent understanding of SDLC, STLC, and testing methodologies from project inception to post-deployment documentation Experience gathering requirements Experience in writing test scripts and planning Experience with testing tools such as Rally and HP ALM Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments Java or C# development experience is preferred Experience with Service Level testing using SOAP UI is required Ability to set up test data and troubleshoot UNIX logs Automation experience using Selenium or similar tools Performance testing experience is a plus Extensive telecom background is essential Additional Information
