This is a Shift role Wed-Sat or Sun-Wed (10 hours each day) -12 pm 10 pm EST Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Linux Administrator. The role involves working within an enterprise infrastructure group, focusing on server operations, incident management, and ensuring the stability of the environment. The position requires collaboration with senior technology staff, operations teams, and teams based in India. As an Operations member of this team you will continue to evaluate and find opportunities to automate, promote DevOps and EngOps work. You will be leading managing Linux, Unix, Windows operating systems, Hypervisors, Hardware, security compliance patching and responsible for stability of the environment! Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. Rate: $50 - $54 / hr. w2 Responsibilities:

Manage Linux, Unix, and Windows operating systems, hypervisors, and hardware. Ensure security compliance patching and stability of the environment. Participate in incident management support and change execution. Contribute to operations KPIs and metrics. Evaluate and find opportunities to automate processes and promote DevOps and EngOps work. Lead and manage server operations in enterprise infrastructure. Collaborate with vendors and partners to implement solutions and improve infrastructure stability. Communicate and build relationships with engineering and operations leaders. Experience Requirements:

5+ years of experience in IT across a broad range of technologies. Specific experience in server and storage infrastructure technologies. Knowledge of Linux, primarily Redhat Linux 7, 8, and 9. Experience with disk storage management and virtualization technologies, preferably VMware ESX servers. On-call coverage experience. Troubleshooting skills for OS, hardware, and storage issues. Experience with shell scripting, Python, and coding in Node or Angular is a plus. Experience driving incident calls and working with enterprise-level customers and app teams. Experience with Veritas products like Storage Foundation/Veritas Cluster Server is a plus. Experience with Windows, VMware, and Oracle Logical Volume Manager (OLVM) is a huge plus. Experience with storage subsystems and SAN/NAS/CAS infrastructure is a huge plus.
