Floor Technician (Full Time)
– SSC Services For Education Location: SSC Little Rock Schools – 3601 Bryant Street, Little Rock, AR 72204 (online applications only). Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday; hours may vary. Details to be discussed in interview. Pay Range: $15.00 – $15.50 per hour. We are hiring immediately and training is available for willing candidates. Job Summary
Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and operation of industrial floor care equipment. Essential Functions
Maintain knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance principles and use proper procedures for stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing. Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment. Utilize automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas. Apply proper procedures on carpet and upholstery, including shampooing, damp surface handling, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc. Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types. Other duties as assigned by manager. Qualifications
Previous experience as a floor care technician or in a related role preferred. Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required. Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures. Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs. Benefits
