Business Development Representative
Meriplex Houston, TX Salary: $30,000.00 $110,000.00 Key Responsibilities Proactively prospect via phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels to create new opportunities. Make high daily outreach (calls + emails + LinkedIn) targeting 75+ touches/day. Research accounts and contacts to identify potential needs. Build trust with prospects and qualify them as sales opportunities. Set meetings between prospects and Account Executives. Partner closely with the sales team to support pipeline growth. Report weekly, monthly, and quarterly activity and results to the VP of Sales.
Qualifications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills (phone + written). Highly motivated, competitive, and coachableyou enjoy learning and improving. Ability to thrive in a fast?paced, team?driven environment. Organized and resilient, with a positive find a way attitude. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or ZoomInfo a plus. Bachelors degree preferred, but not required. 1+ year of sales or customer?facing experience preferred (retail, recruiting, inside sales, call center, or related). Willingness to learn the IT/cybersecurity industryprior MSP/MSSP experience a plus, but not required. Demonstrated success with cold calling or high?volume outreach strongly preferred.
Work Schedule / Travel
Standard business hours Monday Friday 8:00?AM 5:00?PM. Travel optional.
Physical Demands
