Master Crestron Av Programmer
The Master Crestron AV Programmer shall develop and maintain existing AV capabilities within the client's headquarters and outlying subordinate sites and ensure the AV Engineering Team has the tools necessary to successfully execute the mission of the customer. Responsibilities: Provide advanced operational programming, maintenance, and support for all Audio Video systems. Provide direct support for VTC capabilities, work on new Ui designs and integration with multiple Chenega AV Engineering teams who are building new spaces, performing upgrades and patches, and assist with customer training. Utilize advanced Crestron programming skills to manage, operate, and maintain a large array of AV equipment and AV suites. Perform touch panel design and configuration, read, and interpret electronic schematics to troubleshoot and repair systems. Perform AV programming tasks in a timely and quality-conscious manner. Manage customer needs and schedules along with prioritization of work across a broad enterprise of AV systems with varying levels of usage and dependencies. Perform touch panel design and configuration, read, and interpret electronic schematics to troubleshoot and debug systems. Assist with customer training and knowledge/use transfer within a diverse customer base in a sensitive and mission-critical work environment. Work as a key member of a team to assist with troubleshooting and solutioning to ensure high-visibility systems remain available and fully functional. Use advanced knowledge of AV, control signal flow, and test equipment to troubleshoot systems. Remain current within the industry, trends, and emerging technologies. Complete annual company and customer training requirements according to established policies and procedures. Record labor hours daily in an online corporate system. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: BA/BS in the Information Technology field. Additional 4+ years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree. 10+ years of experience in the field of AV Programming, Engineering, and Maintenance. Advanced-level Crestron programming experience (Crestron Master Certification) is preferred. Certification, knowledge, or experience on AMX or Extron control systems. Senior experience in configuring, maintaining, and sustaining Extron, Crestron, AMX, and Cisco UC/VTC technologies is preferred. Ability to obtain COMPTIA Security+ certification within 6 months of hire. Must be a U.S. citizen. Top Secret with the ability to obtain SCI clearance is required. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong time management skills. Experience working as a key member of an AV design and integration team. Ability to apply Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) requirements on UC technologies. Strong networking skills and understanding of AV-Over-IP (NXV, NAX, Dante and AES67) Ability to multitask across a portfolio of AV projects and initiatives. Effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of 2D CAD drawing development (Visio, AutoCAD, or equivalent). Experience communicating directly with customers, vendors, and service providers to foster strong relationships and a positive and collaborative environment. Ability to travel globally to customer sites as needed. Understanding of Department of Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) TTPs, Defense (DOD), and DISA VTC requirements. Must be able to resolve basic and advanced troubleshooting on Cisco UC technologies. Knowledge of AV/VTC sessions, call managers, scheduling, and AV/VTC services with outside agencies for executive-level users. Ability to perform duties in the DoD classified and unclassified environments, including the use of KIV-7 encryption keys for ISDN/IP classified connectivity. Experience with IEEE 802.3 Ethernet, TCP/IP, QoS, ISDN, Firewall Traversal, SIP, H.323, relevant video standards, and DoD Video Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) processes. Working knowledge of SIP, ISM, H232, H320, H460, TLS, RTP, SRTP, TCP/IP, UDP, content control protocols, video compression standards, packet analyzers, routing protocols, and networking fundamentals, Tandberg, Polycom, and Cisco video and voice technologies. Full working knowledge of commercial construction methods, like ceiling deck constructions, wall framing, structural engineering, electrical wiring, and cable/fiber installation. Familiar with AR 25-1 and DoD PAM 25-91. Experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager/Cisco Meeting Server Technologies Operations and Maintenance. Experience with multi-security classified and unclassified IP video teleconferencing/presentations. Senior experience with networking, LAN/WAN, and Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) cabling standards. Proficient in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook. Knowledge of TCP/IP network routing and switching. Experience with any of the following programming languages: C+, C++ or C#, Visual Basic, or HTML. Experience with the industry's audio Digital Signal Processors (DSPs). Knowledge of wireless technologies. Experience with DITSCAP/8500.2 IA controls desired. Understanding of PKI Ability to attend all customer in-person meetings and conferences as requested. Ability to communicate with others effectively, both orally and in writing. Ability to multitask in a high-stress, performance-based environment. Ability to establish priorities and meet established deadlines. Maintain a high level of integrity and accountability. Possess strong problem-solving and leadership skills. Ability to travel CONUS and/or OCONUS up to 15% as required.
