Job Overview: We are seeking a Technical Scrum Master to lead agile teams in the delivery of complex software solutions. This role requires a strong blend of agile leadership, technical acumen, and stakeholder management. You will facilitate agile ceremonies, ensure alignment across teams, and drive continuous improvement while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performing, cloud-native solutions. Facilitating releases in an evolving release management process, compliance documentation, and actively collaborating with dependent teams are key aspects of the role. Key Responsibilities: Agile Facilitation & Leadership Lead agile ceremonies: PI Planning, Iteration Planning, Daily Standups, Retrospectives, Iteration Reviews, and Inspect & Adapt workshops. Foster Lean-Agile principles and team maturity. Ensure transparency and alignment across teams and with the Release Train Engineer (RTE). Planning & Execution Drive release planning and execution. Prepare and execute PI Planning activities. Manage capacity vs. load and ensure backlog health and readiness. Track progress of PI objectives and team commitments. Metrics & Reporting Maintain accurate JIRA updates per iteration. Generate weekly, monthly, and iteration reports. Monitor and report on key metrics: Velocity and average velocity Commit-to-complete ratio User story burndown Story points committed vs. completed Points carried forward Say vs. Do (rolling average over 5 sprints) User story spike rate Risk & Issue Management Identify, resolve, and escalate risks and impediments. Collaborate with RTE, technical leads, and product owners for resolution. Technical Collaboration Understand and support cloud-native architectures (AWS). Collaborate with teams working on distributed systems, microservices, data platforms, and messaging systems. Liaise between stakeholders, developers, QA, and downstream consumers. Required Qualifications: Strong understanding of agile frameworks and Scrum practices. Experience with cloud-native platforms, especially AWS (Glue, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3). Familiarity with CI/CD, containerization, and API design. Knowledge of observability and monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, ELK stack). Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills. Experience with DevOps practices and technical delivery oversight. Comfortable exercising judgment and using analytical skills in ambiguous situations. Outstanding attention to detail combined with the ability to see the big picture. Clear, effective verbal and written communication skills including the ability to actively listen, problem solve, and communicate effectively with both technical and business users.
