Business Continuity Training & Resilience Testing Lead

We are looking for a Senior consultant for a major investment bank in NYC. Summary

The Testing, Simulation & Training Lead is responsible for designing and executing the organizations operational resilience testing and training program. This role ensures the readiness of critical business services to withstand and recover from disruptive events, including power outages, cyber-attacks, infrastructure failures, third-party disruptions, geopolitical unrest, and climate-related crises. The position combines strategic leadership, scenario-based testing, training delivery, and continuous improvement to foster a culture of resilience and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities Define and lead the operational resilience testing and training strategy. Design and run simulations for severe disruption scenarios (cyber, infrastructure, supply chain, geopolitical, climate). Manage annual recovery strategy tests, notification exercises, and third-party validation exercises. Oversee after-action reviews, root cause analysis, and remediation tracking. Build immersive training programs for executives, incident responders, and business teams. Integrate automation, data analytics, and reporting into testing processes. Ensure compliance with global regulatory frameworks (FFIEC, DORA, OCC, PRA). Lead and mentor a specialized team focused on resilience testing and awareness programs.

Qualifications

815 years of experience in business continuity, operational resilience, crisis management, or risk management. Proven ability to design and execute testing and training programs across business and technology domains. Hands?on experience leading scenario exercises, tabletop simulations, and post?exercise reviews. Solid understanding of operational resilience frameworks and impact tolerances. Familiarity with global regulatory requirements (FFIEC, DORA, OCC, PRA). Knowledge of resilience testing tools, automation, and reporting frameworks. Experience with third?party testing and integration of vendor response capabilities. Strong project management and leadership skills, with ability to influence across business and IT. Skilled communicator with experience presenting findings to senior executives. Ability to design and deliver engaging training programs tailored to different audiences. Analytical, outcome?focused mindset with a drive for continuous improvement. Ability to thrive in high?pressure, global, and diverse environments. Bachelors degree in Risk Management, Business, Information Technology, or related field. Certifications such as CBCP, ISO 22301, or similar are a plus.

Base pay range

$130,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr #J-18808-Ljbffr
