We are seeking skilled Millwrights to join our team, specializing in the installation, maintenance, repair, and dismantling of heavy machinery and mechanical systems. This role involves working across diverse industrial and construction environments, including manufacturing plants, food and beverage facilities, energy stations, infrastructure projects, and landfills. Responsibilities Installation & Assembly: Set up machinery and mechanical systems using blueprints, layout plans, and precision tools. Maintenance & Repair: Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and replace defective parts. Alignment & Calibration: Use laser alignment tools, plumb bobs, and micrometers to ensure machinery operates within specifications. Dismantling & Relocation: Safely disassemble and move equipment using hoists, cranes, and rollers. Safety Compliance: Follow OSHA and site-specific safety protocols, including PPE training and medical evaluations. Documentation: Maintain logs of maintenance activities, inspections, and inventory. Essential Skills 3+ years of experience in industrial or mechanical settings. Certifications such as Red Seal (Canada) and OSHA safety training. Technical skills in blueprint reading, laser alignment, mechanical troubleshooting, welding, and fabrication. Strong problem-solving, teamwork, communication, and attention to detail. Additional Skills & Qualifications Welding, MIG, fabrication, stainless steel, horizontal, troubleshooting, installation, upgrades, retrofit, millwright, construction, carpentry, conduit, hydraulics, mechanical, pneumatics, general labor, hand tool, power tool, maintenance technician, plumbing, bending conduit, and assembly. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hermiston, Oregon. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $42.00/hr.
