This helps free up bankers to be more productive to support growth and relationship expansion, while positioning the banks to be more competitive within the market, including reducing the time to closing. This is a collaborative, nimble team focused on transforming the way Wintrust supports the credit needs of smaller enterprises across the charter footprints. We are seeking a motivated, flexible team member who is able to take on new challenges and contribute to the success of our small business lending team for the organization. Position Summary Closing Coordinator for Small Business Loans products ensures files are completed and in accordance with established department procedures, bank policies, and regulations. Closing Coordinator works closely with Application Processors, Credit Analysts, and Relationship Manager to resolve any discrepancies or issues identified in file, in a timely and professional manner. This individual must possess excellent organization skills, problem solving skills, and must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. What Youll Do Pre-closing file review for quality check and determination that all pre-closing requirements and conditions have been met, including detailed collateral where applicable.

Coordinating closings with borrowers for electronic closings (DocuSign) or with originating Relationship Mangers for in-person closings. Drafting of loan documents following established processes, procedures, and regulations.

Obtaining loan documents from Loan Operations Department, where needed. Coordinating bookings and fundings with Loan Operations Department.

Post-closing file review for quality check to ensure loan documents executed correctly and any post-closing requirements and conditions have been met.

Maintenance of deals within WTFC underwriting system.

Other duties as directed.

Qualifications Problem Solving: Resolves non-routine problems

Experience: 3-5 years

Related Experience: Processing and/or closing Commercial loans, Small Business Loans, Small Business Administration Loans; DocuSign; LaserPro; Microsoft Office

Education: Bachelors degree is preferred

Travel Requirements: Minimal, Less than 10%
