Production Assembler Needed
Join our dynamic team as a Production Assembler, where you will assemble electrical and mechanical parts into finished products using various tools and assembly process equipment. This role offers a unique opportunity to cross-train in multiple areas, including mechanical, electronic, testing, microscope use, soldering, and finishing. You will frequently use screwdrivers and torque wrenches and may be required to hand solder and work with various adhesives and chemicals. Additionally, you will operate computer workstations for record-keeping and testing purposes and perform electronic testing on final assemblies using diverse test equipment. You will also engage in quality control inspection functions. Responsibilities: Assemble electrical and mechanical parts into finished products. Cross-train in mechanical, electronic, testing, microscope, soldering, and finishing areas. Frequent use of screwdrivers and torque wrenches. Hand solder as required by the department. Use various adhesives and chemicals in the assembly process. Operate computer workstations for record-keeping and testing. Perform electronic testing on final assemblies. Conduct quality control inspections. Lift up to 40 pounds consistently. Essential Skills: Proficient use of hand tools, soldering, small screwdrivers, and torque wrenches. Ability to read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, and schematics. Experience with PCB or small part assembly is required. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Diploma in a related field is highly preferred. IPC/J-STD certification is highly preferred. Why Work Here?
