Marathon Staffing is looking for a dedicated and reliable 2nd Shift, Material Handler with Forklift Experience for our well-known manufacturing company in Cambridge, MA!
Material Handlers are responsible for the movement of stock materials to storage locations and production floors; retrieve test samples from bulk raw material deliveries, loading verifying and off-loading of trucks. Perform cycle counts/physical inventories.
DUTIES • Movement of materials to support production needs in a timely and efficient manner. • Store and locate raw and packaging materials. • Receive, count, and verify incoming receipts. • Label incoming material • Perform accurate cycle counts and physical inventories. • Receive raw materials, sugar, chocolate, and oil into storage tanks, logging in received materials appropriately without incurring material loss due to spills, etc. • Operate fork truck and other relevant equipment in a safe manner, reporting any equipment, facility, or product damage. • Ensure quality standards are met and maintained
QUALIFICATIONS • Prior Forklift Experience Required • Ability to pass and maintain fork lift certification • Demonstrated math skills • Good oral and written English communication skills • Able to follow / complete department and production procedures • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices and Plant Safety Rules • Flexibility to work different jobs, shifts, and starting times • Repetitive heavy lifting required • Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and background check
Pay: $20.45 per hour
Schedule: 2:30pm - 11:00pm, Mon - Fri with Saturdays being required during peak times
