We are seeking a
1st Shift Inventory Control Specialist
who is dedicated, detail orientated and who wants a stable consistent hours where OT is always available. We have no shortage of work at

Overview:
Global Power produces weld assemblies, fabricated metal buildings, and large complex assemblies of power equipment. The inventory control specialist is responsible for maintaining inventory control processes on the manufacturing floor. The ideal candidate will work closely with production, supply chain, and engineering to ensure a streamlined inventory system.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Process Development and Oversight Implement standardized inventory control processes on production floor. Follow standardized processes for receiving, stocking, kitting, and returning parts. Monitor inventory levels; Ensure levels align with production needs. Lead periodic inventory audits and 5S initiatives.
Bin Stock Management
Create and maintain bin stock locations. Implement labeling standards for parts and bins. Perform cycle counts and reconcile physical inventory with system records.
Material Flow
Monitor status of manufactured components. Expedite through production supervisors. Analyze usage patterns and adjust strategies as needed. Report material transactions to ERP system &/or ERP team.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Relevant experience in; Supply Chain, Warehousing, Bin Stocking, Production Planning.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Familiarity with ERP or MRP systems, Project Management Tools, and Excel features such as tables, filters, and sorting. Familiarity with Smartsheet or Epicor preferred. Forklift training
WORK REQUIREMENTS:
Must have valid drivers license and reliable transportation to travel between our facilities ( Requires standing, walking, lifting, and handling materials.
