Electrical & Instrument Technician – Industrial Water Treatment Location:

Pasco, WA

Pay:

$37/hour

Join a leading industrial water treatment facility as an

Electrical & Instrument Technician ! You’ll troubleshoot and maintain electrical systems, calibrate instruments and valve positioners, and support plant operations, including mechanical maintenance when needed. Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with motors, VFDs, MCCs, and industrial water treatment systems such as RO, DM, or wastewater equipment.

Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot motors, variable frequency drives (VFDs), motor control centers (MCCs), and other electrical equipment.

Perform continuity, Megger, group, and fault testing.

Calibrate instruments and valve positioners, and maintain accurate calibration records.

Advise on spare parts maintenance and inventory management.

Serve as backup operator in emergency situations.

Assist plant supervisor with mechanical maintenance or other plant activities as needed.

Perform general housekeeping to maintain a safe and organized workspace.

Qualifications:

Hands-on experience with modern instrumentation and control equipment (transmitters, automatic valves, analyzers, sensors, VFDs).

Knowledge of rotating equipment performance monitoring and troubleshooting.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently.

Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.

Detail-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.

Experience in industrial water treatment systems , including pre-treatment (PT), demineralization (DM), reverse osmosis (RO), and wastewater equipment such as digesters and aeration units.
