Description

OVERVIEW

Cadrex is searching for a Production Coordinator to actively communicate with a variety of departments while juggling priorities associated with identifying and meeting customer needs in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Review and follow up with requests from customer service regarding expedites, urgent orders, and WIP status

Follow up with orders in process until completion

Run Shortage reports for Purchased items and communicate with Purchasing and Customer Service

Provide estimated completion dates for orders in process

When requesting a job from a specific work center, need to make sure all parts and BOM items are being provided, and need to work with Material Handlers

Receive raw material into ERP System

Perform other duties assigned by supervisor or manager

Requirements

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Manufacturing experience in metal stamping and injection molding a plus

ERP and MRP experience required

Basic math and problem-solving skills

Strong computer skills; proficient in MS Office programs

Attention to detail, quality work, self-motivated, working with all team members to meet production goals are essential qualities

EDUCATION

Highschool diploma

Associate degree preferred

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to the risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and occasionally loud

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
