Job Position: Project Manager / Superintendent
Location: Houston, TX 77054
Pay Rate: $50.48

Description: We are seeking a Superintendent to join our Greater Houston, TX area team. The Superintendent will manage, and control assigned projects, including overseeing field operations, site safety, productivity, schedule, quality work, sub-contractor, and supplier coordination and work in conjunction with the Project Manager, leading the project team to maintain project duration while obtaining anticipated profit. The Superintendent also supervises and coordinates the daily activities of the field personnel and sub-contractors. We are looking for an experienced team player to join our community.
Schedule: Weekends and overtime as needed. Ability to commute/relocate: Houston, TX: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required). License/Certification: Drivers License.

Responsibilities, but not limited to: Walk Pre-Bid job proposals with potential clients. Manage all subcontractors on site and ensure work is performed per scope efficiently and effectively.
Prefer previous experience in building hospitals and/or medical complexes. Ensure that the project schedule is implemented. Adhere to OSHA Safety guidelines and requirements unless otherwise noted. Coordinate with the client in concurrence with PM. Timely provide daily reports, pictures, and all requested items by the Project Manager and client. Schedule project inspections, approvals, and other documents to complete the project. Perform regular site visits to monitor progress and address issues promptly. Mentor and train other employees as necessary. Be a part of onsite meetings with stakeholders. Continually strives for zero injuries on projects. Report jobsite incidents/accidents promptly to safety personnel.
Client-Centered: Maintains positive relationships with the Owners, Program Managers, Inspectors, and all stakeholders throughout the project.
Requirements: Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent. Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and methods. Ability to read and understand plans, specifications, submittals, and drawings. Excellent communication and leadership skills - projects, drive quality results, and ensure the successful completion of construction endeavors.
Identify and address issues and delays promptly, implementing solutions to keep the project on track. Maintain accurate records of daily activities, work progress, and any project scope or schedule changes. Ability to lift heavy materials, work in various weather conditions, and stand or walk for extended periods Show up on time as directed. Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and Project. Experience in Procore is a plus.
Required Education: Has at least 6 years of relevant experience as a Superintendent in Facility Maintenance and Construction Renovation, specializing in K-12, High Education, and Government Entities. BS or BA in Construction Science/Engineering or equivalent experience in commercial construction
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus. Must be able to pass a Background check and drug screening. Must submit three reliable references.
