Hiring Manager: Manager Department: BDC Fund Accounting The BDC Fund Accounting Department is responsible for the financial and investor reporting associated with Golub Capital's three Business Development Companies and their related investments vehicles. Golub Capital's publicly traded BDC is listed on the NASDAQ under the symbol GBDC. The BDC Fund Accounting department also provides Golub Capital's senior management team with reporting and analysis in support of existing businesses and new initiatives. Key responsibilities include monthly closes and ongoing maintenance of general ledgers, production of quarterly financial and investor reports which includes 10K's, 10Q's, 8K's and other regulatory reporting requirements, preparation of quarterly and annual forecasts, and preparation of quarterly Board of Director materials. The BDC Fund Accounting Department interacts extensively with Golub Capital's Operations, Treasury, Tax, Investor Relations, Compliance and Valuation Teams.

Position Responsibilities Support the BDC Fund Accounting Team around financial reporting, such as rolling forward and preparing the 10-Q and 8-K as applicable Work with auditors to prepare and submit PBC requests for quarterly review of financials Reconcile bank statements and post journal entries to the general ledger Reconcile balance sheet and income statement support to trial balances Assist in the preparation of the monthly close package that is reviewed and distributed to senior management Assist the Investor Relations function with the preparation of periodic capital calls distributions, and IRR statements Assist with deliverables for team initiatives Assist with quarterly compliance financials for various entities Assist with preparing supporting files for quarter-end and year-end financial reporting requirements Candidate Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

Junior attending local university interested in financial services Ability to work full-time during the program duration Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) Ability to take initiative and work independently, while demonstrating strong teamwork Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, manage time and priorities under pressure and meet deadlines Enthusiastic about working in office and creating a Gold Standard hybrid work culture Additional Information

Interns have a 40-hour-per-week assignment that last 10 weeks (June 1st - August 7th) Hybrid work schedule Housing assistance will be available for eligible candidates Hourly Rate: $25 Critical Competencies for Success
