Job Title: Clienttion Therapist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Clienttion Therapist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Valid State License required Certifications: ARRT, BLS, State License Must-Have: Experience with Elekta, Mosaiq, and AlignRT Description: Competently performs routine and specialized radiation treatments in accordance with the treatment plan developed by the physician. Works independently, exercising sound judgment and developed clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures. Delivers accurate results in a timely manner. Gains confidence and cooperation from the patient, their family/support group, and other healthcare providers. Achieves this through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication. Adheres to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure privacy and safety. Delivers optimal patient care while being responsible for performing specific procedures or orienting other staff to the department. Must be flexible as shifts may start anytime between 6 AM to 12 PM. Specific experience in benign brain tumors, Elekta Infinity, external beam therapy, and radiation safety is preferred. Additional skills in respiratory gating, stereotactic radiosurgery, and IMRT will be beneficial.
