Aerospace Machine Shop is looking for a Quality Inspector
King Machine specializes in the manufacture of precision CNC machined parts and assemblies for the global aerospace industry. We are committed to Customer satisfaction through Employee involvement and continuous improvement which results in sustained performance in quality, delivery, and cost.

Primary responsibilities:
Perform hands-on in-process and final inspection of light assemblies and detail parts in support of an AS9100 certified aerospace machine shop.
CMM and manual first part and final inspection.
Receiving inspection of supplier furnished product and services.
Identify, segregate, and maintain records for non-conforming material.
Complete AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR's).
Knowledge & Skills:
Knowledge of CMM inspection and prior experience with PC-DMIS.
Strong understanding and ability to interpret engineering drawings, perform basic shop math and familiarity with Geometric Dimensions & Tolerances per ASME Y14.5.
Ability to use standard inspection equipment, including micrometer, caliper, and digital height gage.
More than basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Minimum 5+ years Quality Inspection or equivalent education and experience.
Previous experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
Hardness and conductivity inspection experience of machined parts is a plus.
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Overtime as required.
