$18 - $23/hr., depending on experience \n Hours: \n2pm – 10:30pm \nor \n10pm – 6:30am \n \n \n Position Summary: \n

\n\t Understanding of manufacturing/ warehousing, intermediate mathematics skills, high school diploma, eagerness to be trained and promoted.\n\t

Machine shop is clean, highly organized, and safety is a top priority.\n\t

Client promotes from within and helps you learn new skills.\n\t

More than pressing buttons—expect production, inspection, troubleshooting, and daily challenges to support professional growth.\n

\n \n Responsibilities: \n\n

\n\t Operate CNC machines to make miniature components—follow instructions and blueprints, refrain from using any shortcuts.\n\t

Inspect parts with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers) and by sight, accuracy, and detail matter.\n\t

Fill out logs and inspection sheets every shift—write clearly and correctly.\n\t

Learn and use machining offsets to fix issues with parts; client will train you.\n\t

Input production, quality, and safety data daily; transparency is everything.\n\t

Keep your area spotless—wipe down machines, mop at shift’s end, no exceptions.\n\t

Oversee machine chips and scrap properly.\n\t

Use scales to weigh and count pieces (very tiny materials).\n\t

Record ‘Heat Lot’ numbers for traceability.\n\t

All documentation must be clear and without scribbles.\n\t

Safety and standards are non-negotiable—you must follow all procedures.\n

\n \n Requirements: \n\n

\n\t 0–2 years in machining or manufacturing

(Swiss CNC experience highly ) \n\t

Able to use measurement tools and read basic blueprints. Committed to cleanliness and detail.\n\t

Works well alone or as part of a team.\n\t

Eager to learn and ready to improve daily.\n\t

Willing and able to

travel to Northbrook, IL in early 2026
