About the Role: Join Sturgeon Electric's Commercial and Industrial (C&I) electrical construction division, where we excel in executing large-scale commercial electrical projects. With a strong foundation in Integrated Lean Project Delivery methods, we offer pre-construction services, in-house pre-fabrication, and Building Information Modeling (BIM) capabilities. As a Lead Electrical Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the electrical construction process, ensuring our projects are competitive and profitable while nurturing strong relationships with internal and external clients. Your key responsibilities will include preparing complete cost estimates and responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for commercial and industrial electrical projects. Additionally, you will mentor and train Estimators and Estimator Trainees to foster talent within our team. Essential Functions: Prepare detailed labor and material cost estimates. Develop thorough responses to RFPs and RFQs. Adhere to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Estimating. Formulate strategies aimed at securing project awards. Manage and enhance our estimating database. Cultivate relationships with clients to support ongoing business development. Support team members with cost estimates and bid package preparation. Review and assess Estimating staff performance. Act as the primary contact for the Estimating team. Collaborate closely with Project Management teams. Maintain the bid log and report to corporate leadership. Prepare bills of material and facilitate Purchasing needs. Conduct field walk-downs to establish constructability requirements with customers, subcontractors, and construction personnel. Ensure project documents are accurate and consistent through careful comparison. Perform field take-offs and evaluations to support estimate preparation. Engage in the internal and external estimate review process. Assist project teams in tracking and understanding cost estimates throughout the project lifecycle. Prepare and submit necessary change orders. Conduct post-project reviews to finalize invoicing and cost tracking. This role will be based in a company-designated office or field location. Potentially oversee Estimating and BIM departments. Complete other duties as assigned. Maintain regular and predictable attendance. Comply with the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics Policy and relevant industry standards. About You: Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical construction estimating. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: In-depth knowledge of current local and national electrical codes (N.E.C.). Familiar with local electrical codes. Ability to interpret civil, architectural, structural, and mechanical plans, specifications, and other relevant documentation. Understanding of electrical materials and methods of installation. General knowledge of engineered material costs. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Bluebeam, Accubid, and other estimating software. Strong analytical, organizational, verbal, written, and communication skills. Team-oriented approach. Self-motivated and capable of staying focused while working independently. What We Offer: Salary:

$95,000-$135,000/year based on experience, paid weekly. Comprehensive benefits package:
