Job Overview:
The Intuit Corporate FP&A team is seeking a strategic, curious, and forward-thinking MBA finance intern to join us for the summer.
Corporate FP&A is part of Intuit's Corporate and Strategic Finance team, which plays a critical role in driving enterprise-wide growth and profitability through strategic financial and operational leadership. During your internship, you will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge to real-world challenges that demand strategic thinking and rigorous financial modeling, while also developing insights across all of Intuit's business lines, including the Global Business Solutions Group, TurboTax, Credit Karma, and ProTax.
The primary objective of our summer internship program is to attract and develop highly talented individuals. Internships serve as a direct pipeline to full-time strategic roles, offering frequent exposure to company leaders, core businesses, and cutting-edge technologies - where you can quickly make meaningful contributions.
Responsibilities
Conduct enterprise-level financial modeling, including forecasting, valuation, and scenario analysis
Perform market research and competitor analysis to generate insights that guide strategic planning
Assist in preparing executive deliverables, including board-level materials, that communicate strategic and financial insights to senior leadership
Work on strategic financial initiatives ranging from business case development and scenario modeling to special projects that enable growth and effective decision-making
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in an MBA program with an emphasis in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, or the equivalent
3-5 years of experience within FP&A function or equivalent tenure from related positions in corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, or strategy
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel to analyze complex business scenarios by building/improving financial models
Highly motivated, self-starter with ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, simultaneously manage several priorities, and challenge the status quo to lead change and operational improvements
Attention to detail and ability to synthesize large volumes of data into insightful recommendations to the executive leadership team
Ability to influence all levels of leadership to drive actions, behaviors, decisions and business outcomes
Strong written and oral communication skills with experience in presenting to business partners with confidence, conviction and credibility
Grace under pressure with a good sense of humor and dose of humility
Experience in the tech industry is a plus but not required
