Key Responsibilities:
Global Logistics Management:
Take charge of all inbound and outbound shipments across key regions including the Middle East, Asia, Europe, and the United States. Collaborate with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of shipments. Compliance & Documentation:
Ensure full compliance with global trade laws and customs requirements. Manage shipping documentation such as invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations with meticulous attention to detail. Vendor & Carrier Relations:
Negotiate service agreements and freight rates with logistics providers to optimize both cost and performance. Cultivate strong relationships with international vendors and transportation partners. Inventory & Warehouse Coordination:
Work closely with warehouse teams to monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate stock records. Ensure premium goods are properly packaged, handled, and stored in alignment with brand standards. Cross-Functional Alignment:
Collaborate with sales, merchandising, and retail departments to synchronize logistics operations with business needs. Provide proactive shipment updates and resolve delivery challenges swiftly. Process Improvement:
Evaluate logistics workflows and implement enhancements for improved efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Advocate for best practices to promote sustainable and streamlined supply chain operations. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years experience in global logistics coordination, ideally in luxury retail, fashion, or apparel sectors. Strong grasp of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and compliance requirements. Proficient in logistics management platforms, ERP systems, and shipment tracking tools. Exceptional communication, organizational, and negotiation skills with the ability to manage multiple global partners across varying time zones. Demonstrated capability to drive process improvements and achieve operational excellence in high-energy environments.
