The most meaningful work of your career is waiting. Join us.

About the Team:

The Supply Chain team turns design intent into executable reality, balancing lead time, cost, complexity, and manufacturability to ensure we can build and scale Terran R. On this team, you're not just placing orders; you're actively shaping the solution. With full ownership across raw materials, capital equipment, and services, the role requires both strategic thinking and day-to-day execution. As the company scales, supply chain becomes increasingly central, working closely with engineering, quality, manufacturing, and more to make decisions that work for today but also for tomorrow. This is a team for those who want to operate at the intersection of technical ambition and business execution, driving tangible progress to keep the Terran R program on track.

About the Role:

We're looking for a Cost Analyst to join our Supply Chain team, responsible for sourcing Relativity's next launch vehicle, Terran-R. This position will be involved with many aspects of accounting and finance and will be a key contributor in reporting strong unit-cost analysis for our manufactured products, producing timely financial reporting, and ensuring our financial accounting is accurate.

Create and implement flexible and actionable product-costing models across a variety of Relativity manufactured products for Terran R (e.g. Aeon Engines, First Stage, Second Stage, Thrust Structure) and subassembly systems

Manage inventory valuation for multiple production locations, maintain inventory reconciliations, and set up capabilities for new sites/programs

Partner with supply chain, production, and engineering leaders to set cost reduction targets and regularly prepare and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track execution against those productivity goals

Review and update standard costs and bill of materials with labor, burden and outside service costs

Analyze and record R&D inventory expenses to the correct projects and departments

Develop and enhance tools that will drive unit-cost reductions across key products

Manage year-end audit requests regarding inventory, cost of goods sold, and R&D spending

Maintain relevant cost dashboard and reporting. Present monthly inventory close and cost metrics to production and finance leadership

Establish, document, and deploy control procedures over accounting and financial activities

Perform FP&A analysis for production and supply chain department spend and identify opportunities to drive efficiencies

About You:

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, mathematics, engineering or other technical discipline

3+ years of experience in general accounting, cost accounting, financial operations, or financial analysis of manufacturing activities

Experience with SQL

Advanced Excel modeling and reporting skills

Nice to haves but not required:

Experience with cost accounting (preferably high-volume manufacturing)

Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principle (GAAP) for manufacturing businesses with CPA designation

Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) compliance
