Position:
Peer Recovery Support Specialist - Substance Use Disorder (SUD), I(e)nter Crisis Prevention Team (InterCPT)

Job Summary:
Peer Recovery Support Specialist advocates for individuals in recovery, shares helpful resources, facilitates skill-building activities, and provides crisis support when needed. They lead peer recovery groups, foster relationship-building, mentor individuals in setting goals, and offer guidance on managing life roles such as employee, parent, or student. Supportive services may also include transportation, medication reminders, or assistance with daily tasks. Other related duties may be assigned as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education (level and type) and Related Work Experience High school diploma or equivalent. Lived experience of recovery from substance use disorders. Preferred qualifications include at least one (1) year of experience working with consumers with substance use challenges. At least two (2) years of sobriety are required. State or nationally recognized peer certification or training as required by the West Virginia
Department of Health and Human Services (DoHS).
