Join our Investor Advice Solutions team, which includes Schwab Wealth Advisory, Centralized Service & Operations, and Wealth Strategies Consulting Group. Schwab Wealth Advisory provides premium, fee-based, and non-discretionary investment advisory services, building personal relationships and offering specialized ongoing advice based on our innovative investment philosophy.
What You Will Do:
Deliver exceptional financial plans tailored to the most complex client situations. Utilize your expert knowledge to address critical wealth management challenges and contribute strategic insights to enhance Schwab Wealth Advisory offerings. Engage in public presentations for partners and clients, serving as a subject matter expert across the organization to support business growth and executive initiatives. Additionally, mentor and support the development of financial planning expertise among colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
Build strong relationships with clients to understand their financial needs through comprehensive discovery conversations.
Collaborate with clients to develop, review, and refine personalized financial roadmaps.
Provide ongoing support to clients, updating financial plans for life changes and ensuring alignment with investment solutions.
Actively share knowledge and awareness of our comprehensive financial planning services with colleagues to optimize service delivery.
Facilitate seamless collaboration across departments, utilizing additional resources as needed to enhance our wealth management approach.
Effectively manage multiple priorities, ensuring timely and accurate plan delivery to clients and prospects.
Coordinate meetings and presentations with both clients and business partners, conducting follow-up and connecting clients with specialized Schwab services.
Qualifications:
To thrive in this role, candidates should possess:
A Master’s level or equivalent financial planning-related designation.
A CFP designation is mandatory.
Active and valid FINRA Series 7 license.
Active and valid FINRA Series 63/65 or 66 licenses.
A Bachelor’s degree.
A minimum of 5 years in financial services, including 2 years in financial planning.
A strong passion for enabling clients to manage their financial future and build valuable relationships.
The ability to articulate the significance of financial planning services effectively.
Experience guiding clients through complex financial planning processes.
Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail, adhering to guidelines and best practices.
A collaborative work style that contributes to a team-oriented environment.
