Quality Manager Location: Newbury, Berkshire Employment Type: Full-time About the Role Were seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead and develop the Quality function within a growing, high-technology manufacturing facility in Newbury. The company designs and produces high-performance interconnect solutions used in aerospace, defence, renewable energy, and advanced engineering applications. This is a hands-on leadership role where youll drive quality excellence, ensure compliance to ISO and AS standards, and promote a culture of continuous improvement across the business. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the Quality team to ensure product and process compliance. Maintain and enhance Quality Management Systems (ISO9001, AS9100, ISO14001, ISO45001). Drive best practice and continuous improvement across production and engineering teams. Conduct internal and external audits, manage non-conformances, and close out corrective actions. Support supplier quality management, customer audits, and on-site inspections. Collaborate with all departments to embed a proactive quality culture. About You Proven experience in Quality Management or Quality Assurance within a manufacturing or engineering environment (electronics or mechanical products ). Strong knowledge of ISO and AS standards and auditing processes. Skilled in root cause analysis, 8D, PFMEA, SPC, and Lean/Six Sigma tools. Excellent communication and leadership skills with a proactive, collaborative approach. Experience within aerospace, defence, or other regulated industries (advantageous). As this is an ITAR-governed facility, candidates must be eligible to obtain security clearance or currently hold it.
