AV/VTC Engineer (On-Site; Pearl Harbor, HI) with Security Clearance

Fort Belvoir, VA ? Pearl Harbor, HI ? Columbus, OH Job Description: High-Level Tasks: ? Install, pull, terminate and test all audio visual (AV) type cables, connectors, and interfaces. Ability to install projection screens, plasma TVs and different types of speakers. Installation of AV systems on client sites. Read blueprints and wire AV racks. Manage AV projects with various models and makes of equipment. Will support up to ten (10) offsite events, within 50 miles of the respective duty station, per year. Has a thorough understanding and working knowledge of testing, analyses and corrective action on systems, networks, hardware and software. Know and understand all wire and connector types on all AV related cable. Qualifications (Must Haves): Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, OR four (4) additional years of related experience. Experience: 5 years' experience of AV Engineering Certifications (Required): ? DoD 8570 IAT Level II (e.g., Sec, CySA) ? One of the following Cisco Certified Support Technician (CCST) Specializations: ? 100-140 CSST IT Support ? 100-150 CCST Networking ? 100-160 CCST Cybersecurity Technical Expertise: ? Know and understand all wire and connector types on all AV related cable. ? Have a thorough understanding and working knowledge of testing, analyses and corrective action on systems, networks, and hardware, and software.
