Your responsibilities will include: Cleaning & Sanitizing:
Efficiently wash and sanitize all kitchen items, including dishes, utensils, pots, and pans, utilizing commercial dishwashing equipment and manual methods as needed. Equipment Maintenance:
Ensure that all dishwashing machines and sinks are working correctly and report any issues to management. Organization:
Keep cleaned dishes and utensils neatly organized and easily accessible for the kitchen staff. Workspace Cleanliness:
Maintain the cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including washing floors and surfaces, and managing food debris and stains. Inventory Management:
Assist in restocking and organizing cleaning supplies and detergents for the dishwashing area. Waste Management:
Dispose of food scraps and trash in compliance with health and safety regulations. Health & Safety:
Adhere to all health and safety standards, including correct use of sanitization agents and handling of dishwashing equipment. Support Functions:
Support kitchen staff with additional cleaning and organizational tasks as needed. Emergency Response:
Actively respond to any spills or incidents in the dishwashing area to maintain a safe working environment.
