Do you have a desire to work in higher education? Do you want to assist students in navigating their career paths? This may be the job for you.

As a “Pre-Health Advisor,” you will help prospective, current, and alumni students to enter health careers by discussing their motives and goals, discussing career opportunities, required coursework, and/or pre-professional experience. Advisors also edit students’ professional school applications and write recommendation letters.

Training is provided for this role. Most of the work week will be helping students in person, by video, and by e-mail. The remainder will be training and projects. The selected candidate will be expected to work at UT Dallas full-time while training and, after 6 months, at least 3 days per week in the office with up to 2 days per week remote. Occasional evening or weekend availability required. Occasional travel required.
