Position Summary:
The QC Manager is responsible for overseeing all quality control activities at Greenberry Industrial’s Jennings fabrication facility. This role ensures compliance with internal quality standards and applicable codes, including ASME, AISC, and AWS D1.1, while supporting efficient production of piping, structural steel, and module fabrication.

Key Responsibilities:
· Develop, implement, and enforce shop quality control standards and procedures.
· Oversee inspection activities for piping, structural steel, and module fabrication projects.
· Maintain compliance with ASME, AISC, and AWS D1.1 codes.
· Utilize Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) credentials to inspect welding operations and ensure compliance with specifications.
· Provide technical guidance on fabrication components, processes, tolerances, and standards.
· Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
· Prepare and maintain accurate quality documentation, including inspection reports and certifications.
· Train and mentor quality control staff.
· Ensure all quality processes comply with Louisiana state laws and federal safety regulations.

Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree .
· Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification required.
· Minimum 5 years’ experience in fabrication quality control, with specific experience in piping, structural steel, and module fabrication.
· In-depth understanding of fabrication processes, components, tolerances, and quality requirements.
· Strong knowledge of ASME, AISC, and AWS D1.1 codes.
· Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.

Physical Requirements:
· Ability to work in a fabrication shop environment.
· Must be able to stand, walk, and perform inspections for extended periods (up to 12 hours).
· Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs as required.
